Level 1 Club Coaching Course- July 24 @ Broadmeadows Stadium
Broadmeadows Basketball will be hosting a Club Coaching Course on Sunday July 24, run by Basketball Victoria.
This course is for all Domestic and Representative level coaches and covers a range of topics including structuring and running drills, training session and season planning, skill development, game coaching techniques, communication and more.
The focus is on giving you the coaching tools to more effectively design and teach drills and offensive/defensive structure- not simply demonstrating training drills to take back to your team.
On completion, you will receive a Nationally recognised 'Club Coaching' accreditation from Basketball Australia (previously Level 1).
We strongly encourage all domestic and representative coaches to complete this course. VJBL have flagged an intention to have all representative coaches be accredited in the future so this is a good opportunity to complete a course locally.
